EnergyBus e.V. is organized exclusively for non-profit purposes. These are:
- Promote environmental protection and health by widespread use of light electric vehicles.
- Boost the market by providing a solution for many problems the industry is facing as it grows.
- Provide a large vision, think ahead and anticipate future LEV applications and technical requirements.
- Provide a communication and developemt platform for representatives of differnent companies and applications in the LEV field to find the best technical solution to connect electric vehicle components.
- Define the specifications of the EnergyBus communication and connector standard and thus facilitate the development of high-quality compatible EnergyBus devices
- Promote the benefits of EnergyBus and the quality of products that have passed compliance testing.
- Promote science and research in this area.
- Encourage bicycle OEM‘s, peripheral vendors, software vendors, and other research institutes and associations to join and work actively in the further development and finalization of the EnergyBus system.
- Be an authority to ensures that products using EnergyBus have passed compliance testing.
