Three more Companies joined EnergyBus
08/25/2009

In the course of 2009, Panasonic Electronic Devices Europe GmbH, Germany-based connector development company ODU Steckverbindungssysteme GmbH & Co. KG as well as SANYO Component Europe GmbH joined the EnergyBus organization.

EnergyBus e.V. welcomes two major players in the battery industry––both originate from Japan: Panasonic Electronic Devices Europe GmbH develops, produces and distributes electronic devices and joined EnergyBus e.V. in April 2009.

In June 2009, SANYO Component Europe GmbH also became a member of the EnergyBus organization. SANYO Component Europe GmbH was established as a merger of Sanyo Energy (Europe) GmbH, the SANYO Electronic Devices Marketing Office and SANYO Semiconductor Europe GmbH in April 2004. Since then SANYO Component Europe represents products from various SANYO-Divisions in Europe.

ODU Steckverbindungssysteme GmbH & Co. KG develops connectors and industrial applications. The Germany-based company signed their application in June 2009, just a few days before SANYO.
With Panasonic, SANYO, and ODU as new members deriving from two key sectors for the development of the EnergyBus standard, the organization now counts 13 institutional members and 11 personal members.
