EnergyBus has developed first pre-production models of EnergyBus connectors. A charging connector as well as a plug to connect battery, motorcontroller, and user interface inside the vehicle will be among the most significant news in the LEV field at this year's Eurobike show.
The connectors have been developed by EnergyBus member Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik GmbH & Co. KG. They are based on the desing by Norbert Haller, a personal member of the organization and the co-founder and long-year partner of Craftsmen Design in Berlin. The technical specifications of the connectors still have to be defined. First connectors are expected to be available on the market in 2011.
The first prototypes will be presented at Eurobike in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The trade and public bicycle show takes place from Sep 2-5, 2009. The EnergyBus booth will be located in the East entrance area during the trade visitor days from Sept 2-4, 2009.
